About
Welcome to the gastronomic gem of Quezon City, Tapsi Ni Vivian Project 3. Nestled in the heart of Project 3, this restaurant has garnered rave reviews from diners who appreciate its homey ambiance and delicious comfort food. While some describe the place as reminiscent of a university canteen, the flavor profile here is a step up, showcasing the skill of chefs committed to culinary excellence.
At Tapsi Ni Vivian, the star of the menu is undoubtedly their Tapsilog, a classic Filipino breakfast dish composed of tapa (marinated beef), sinangag (garlic rice), and itlog (fried egg). Reviewers like Danilo Olanosa highlight the richness of the flavors, often stating that the food is priced slightly higher than other similar establishments. This premium reflects the quality of the meals served here, affirming that you truly get what you pay for.
The menu offers a wonderful variety, with customers like Arielle Pamela Frias praising their range from classic tapa to adobong pusit (squid adobo), fresh lumpia, and crispy tawilis. Each dish is a celebration of Philippine cuisine, showcasing not just flavor but also a commitment to using quality ingredients. The café-style setup allows you to truly indulge in the experience as you observe the lively atmosphere around you.
Service here is generally commendable, although some patrons, like Simon Pavel Miranda, noted a difference in ordering style compared to other branches. This doesn’t detract from the overall experience, as the tantalizing meals have left many returning for more. In fact, Greystoke reminisces about the years gone by and still finds joy in the same beloved tapsi.
While meals like Adsilog (adobo pork with rice) may come with a side of sweet dinakdakan, the offerings at Tapsi Ni Vivian are crafted with a deft hand, ensuring your palate is tantalized with every bite. Customers remark on the abundant serving sizes, making your dining experience both satisfying and full of value. Though some mention a rise in prices over the years, notably remarked by Pauie Pascua-Atuel, they assure that the taste has remained consistently strong.
Tapsi Ni Vivian Project 3 isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a lively meeting point for those seeking authentic flavors in a cozy setting. It stands out as a must-visit for food enthusiasts and casual diners alike. If you find yourself in Quezon City, make sure to drop by for a meal that resonates with the heart and soul of Filipino cuisine.
“ Do you know of a hold in the wall restaurant that had such good food, it became successful? This place has excellent food. They're known for their Tapsilog but I tried a couple of dishes and they were very good. It actually looks like a university canteen with much better cooks. They know their food tastes delicious and the price reflects that. It's more expensive than other places of its caliber. ”
“ Would have been 5 stars if just like other branches, order is listed as you point the food..unlike here where you have to tell the cashier your orders. Food ,like other branches is good. ”
“ We ordered their classic tapa, adobong pusit, fresh lumpia and cripsy tawilis and all of them were very GOOD!!!! Our go to place for best breakfast and best tapa! ”
“ We were looking for a place to have lunch and we were in Aurora so we chose this place. It has been years since I've been here at Vivian's, at least 7 years. I still love their tapsi. Their cafeteria style still appeals to my appetite. Their dinakdakan is good but on the sweet side. It was overall a pleasant experience. I recommend this place. ”
“ Cool place with great variety of foods to choose from. Great service. I ordered Adsilog (Adobo Pork + Egg) with rice for 155 pesos while Halo-halo for 110 pesos. They will initially serve you glass with ice, a pitcher, beef soup and chili with calamansi. For Adsilog - great, soft and in good quantity servicing. For Halohalo - big servicing, just ok yet no wow factor/ingredients. Overall great food and an ok atmosphere. ”
